Our Annual Youth Day for the Young People's Division (Y.P.D) of the Florida Conference, 11th Episcopal District of the African Methodist Episcopal Church (A.M.E.) was held on Saturday, August 11, 2012. Vincent Edwards kicked off our all-day event by challenging the youth to always aim high and keep God at the focal point of their lives.
Boy, what an awesome and captivating presentation! Vincent did an impeccable job of keeping the attention of our youth and totally engaged the adults that were in attendance. His energy and unique presentation style kept us wanting more.
Thank you, Vincent. We are looking forward to having you participate in future events with our organizations.

Vincent is a dynamic and energetic young man. He understands that success is a product of determination, tenacity and work. His success as an Inspirational and Motivational Speaker can be attributed to this understanding as well as adhering to positive principles and values.
Being his mentor is a blessing to me because Vincent 'Mr. Speaker" is a man who listens and applies what he has been taught. What that means to me is that he does not waste time, mine or his. He shares his knowledge and life experiences (successes and failures) because he desires to help improve the lives of others. Many people who I'd characterize as "pros" don't have the "heart." Many people who have the heart don't have the background and skill to back it up. Rare is the person with both. Conversing with Vincent is like taking a dive into a cool, refreshing mountain spring. The conversation not only flows smoothly (even, on a humorous note, during "little" interruptions like power surges), but also has a sincerity that rings true. Vincent can converse masterfully on anything, and has a way of making his guests feel both welcomed and very special. Most importantly, Vincent's conversations are always grounded in matters of the spirit, as well as rooted in the practicalities of the everyday.
Vincent, through word and example, encourages everyone to aspire to inhabit the realm where, to borrow from Tolkien, "joy and sorrow are as sharp as swords." He teaches us what it means to be fully human, and to be fully alive.

I have had the distinguished opportunity to hear him speak at Saint Mary Primitive Baptist Church, where I serve as Pastor and he has delivered at least seven motivational presentations for the Tallahassee Urban League where I serve as president and chief executive officer. Mr. Edwards speaks truth and from the heart to youth and adults. I believe any organization would benefit greatly from hearing the messages that he delivers. I highly recommend Vincent T.
